  • The New York Staffing Association (NYSA) is the trade association that promotes the interests of the staffing industry through legal and legislative advocacy, education, and the advancement of high standards of ethical conduct. NYSA is a non profit organization for the staffing industry in the State of New York.

    We serve as the voice of the industry in state efforts to communicate industry matters to association members, legislative leaders, regulators, the news media and the general public. You can make that voice more effective when you join our association. NYSA maintains a strict code of ethics, and members pledge to uphold the highest ethical standards for their business, and for the industry. As a member of NYSA, you will also be affiliated with the American Staffing Association.

    NYSA is one of the largest affiliated chapters of the American Staffing Association. It has regions in Albany, Buffalo/Rochester, Long Island, New York (Metro), and Westchester. NYSA represents a diverse base of companies, ranging from small independently-owned staffing companies to large national agencies.

  • The Division of Minority and Women's Business Development (DMWBD). The mission of DMWBD is to promote equality of economic opportunities for MWBEs and to eliminate barriers to their participation in state contracts. We supplement New York State’s economic leadership with information and resources that increase access to information and opportunities for minority and women-owned businesses throughout the State.

    They have a fully integrated online system New York State Contract System (NYSCS). The NYSCS provides a streamlined of New York State’s MWBE certification and MWBE procurement process. It is designed to improve and expedite vendor registration; MWBE certification application submission and processing; notification of bid or contract opportunities; contract monitoring; MWBE compliance and payment verification; and access to an enhanced directory of MWBE certified firms. The New York State Contract System allows vendors to manage their own records; maintain accurate contact information; and report subcontractor payment information online. All outside service providers, whether construction contractors, suppliers, consultants, lawyers or underwriters, will be connected. The systems deploys across all State agencies and authorities, saving agencies and vendors substantial time, effort, and expense.

  • The Home Improvement Council of Western New York was organized in 1964 at the request of members concerned with upgrading the standards and image of the home remodeling industry.

    One of the most important missions of our Council is to serve the home improvement consumer by requiring adherence to the highest standards of business practice among our members. Our members know that consumer confidence has to be earned. The various programs offered by the HIC to its members are geared to produce professionalism in all aspects of running a home remodeling and construction business. Our members have the opportunity to keep abreast of the latest developments in products, applications, and innovations, which pertain to their particular specialties.

  • The Las Vegas Chamber of Commerce has been an integral part of the community almost since the beginning. The Chamber was founded in 1911 by business people in need of a central organization to address and represent the interests of businesses in the development of the community.
